Chris Jones began using Amsoil products in 2003 after he began racing his turbocharged car at local autocross events. Operating his vehicle at redline and adding 20-psi of boost, Chris knew his engine and turbocharger were going to need the highest level of protection. Chris used his Chemical Engineering background to analyze different oil properties and found that Amsoil products would not only provide the most protection, but would allow extended drain intervals! This vehicle currently has over 140,000 miles on the engine and operates the same as it did when it was new.
Realizing that Amsoil products provide value and cost savings, Chris decided to become a dealer in 2005. He continued to work as a consulting engineer and sold Amsoil products to local racing friends. Throughout this time, Chris studied all aspects of lubrication using Amsoil training programs and reading textbooks from the library. By 2009, Chris used his expertise in the lubricant industry and began selling Amsoil to commercial accounts. The opportunity for continued sales was huge…but time to meet with potential customers was limited by Chris’ consulting career. Chris decided to put his engineering career on hold and began selling Amsoil to commercial and retail accounts full time. The rest is history in the making!
Chris operates his business with a “customers first” attitude. He is always available, dependable, and professional. If requested, Chris provides free training seminars to his accounts to learn the fundamentals of lubrication and proper applications in equipment.
